In 2001 after working together for five years with Marco Pierre White, Andrew Thompson and Zak Jones opened The Clerkenwell, a fine dining restaurant located in St John Street EC1.

Shortly after in 2004 both Andrew Thompson and Zak Jones opened The Chancery, a small intimate site within Cursitor Street EC4.

Situated in a quiet back street between Fleet Street and High Holborn, just off Chancery Lane the restaurant offers elegance, comfort and above all intimate surroundings set in the heart of London.

With two restaurants close by we are able to cater for all requests from small intimate dinners to large exclusive takeovers.

In 2007 The Chancery and The Clerkenwell started an events company dealing with outside catering for small office lunches to large weddings and corporate events in and outside of London.
